Capucine Pillowtop Round Mattress Topper
The pillowtop toppers provide extra cushioning, luxurious comfort, and additional pressure point relief to hips and shoulders for the ultimate in rest and relaxation. The pillowtop topper lays right on top of the mattress. Then the mattress topper and fitted sheet go over both the pillowtop topper and the mattress itself holding the topper in place. In addition, the pillowtop toppers are quite substantial in weight, and the mattress and pillowtop topper coverings are cotton on cotton, rather than a slippery polyester fabric. The pillowtop topper will not slip around.
We recommend any of the three thicknesses of pillowtop toppers on the All Cotton Mattress. The 3" topper has less latex cushioning, and you are closer to the firmness of the mattress. Therefore, it will feel plush and comfortable, but firmer in comparison to the 4" or 5" thick topper versions. Most people with bad backs do best on the All Cotton Mattress with a 3" Pillowtop Topper. It provides enough cushioning for comfort while maintaining excellent overall support.
The firmness rating of the All Cotton Mattress with the 3" Pillowtop Topper is #3 in firmness, which is right in the middle (supportive, yet not too firm - right in the middle). While the firmness rating of the All Cotton Mattress with either the 4" and 5" Pillowtop Topper versions are considered #4 in firmness, with the 4" thick pillowtop topper being a bit plusher feeling than the 5" thick version.
